Pulled my head today. Good news, no blown rings, all valves are fine. Bad news, 2 stupids exhaust valves springs broke on cylinder #1. The result, melted piston, melted sleeve, melted combustion chamber.
So I need a new block, a new piston and I hope the head is not beyond repair.
Stupid springs...

aw shit man sorry to hear about that. what springs were you using? how many rpms you winding out?

Bullfrog dual springs, with 8000 miles on them. I'm reving 7500rpm, they are suppose to handle up to 10,000rpm, yeah right.
